There are a number of upcoming fairs and events that are relevant for STEM students, so consider this page a resource to help you navigate the fairs and related events. Explore your options because each fair offers something different.
These fairs are open to all majors, but some are STEM-focused.
After you look through this page, check out some general tips to prepare for a career fair.
Spring Engineering & STEM Fair
Day 1: February 3, 2020 from 1:00pm to 6:00pm
Day 2: February 5, 2020 from 1:00pm to 6:00pm
Where: Gordon Dining and Event Center
This STEM-focused fair will take place over two days, with a relatively even split of employers present on each day. Employers at this fair are very interested in Computer Science majors specifically within L&S.
Engineering Career Fair Maps/Name Tags
Get the employer location map, create a required name tag.
- Sept 6 – 18, weekdays from 9 am – 4 pm.
- Engineering Hall Lobby, 1415 Engineering Drive
- Items NOT at the fair location, so obtain at Engineering Hall (L&S Majors get their nametags here too).

Spring Career & Internship Fair
When: February 4, 2020 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm
Where: Kohl Center
All current UW-Madison students (including first-year students) and recent alumni are encouraged to attend to connect with over 200 employers from around the world. This all-campus fair will feature employers from many various fields and industries.
Nearly 200 companies will be attending
Nearly half of all employers attending are interested in all majors
Over 30 companies willing to accept OPT/CPT
Biohealth Student-Employer Connector
When: February 25, 2020 from 5:30pm to 7:00pm
Where: Memorial Union – Tripp Commons
At this event, students have the opportunity to ask questions, gather information on jobs/industry/personal path options and create connections for future conversations with some of the top biohealth employers in an informal, laid-back setting.
All majors are welcome to attend
Employers attending include: Exact Sciences, Covance, Illumina, Catalent, PPD, Moxe, Epic, GE Healthcare, Yahara Software, Aldevron
