Will Old Habits Return or Die?: The Impact of Covid-19 on Consumer Behavior with P&G

Get career learning experience this summer! All majors are invited to participate in this case study simulation to learn, explore, and experience what it’s like to work in a professional field.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had an unprecedented impact on consumers, retailers, and consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies. As millions of Americans begin to return to work and their “normal” lives P&G has had to adapt to support their key stakeholders (retailers, consumers, employees, and communities) in a myriad of new ways. This case study will walk students through how P&G has assessed consumer behavior change during the pandemic and developed new strategies to grow their brands.

Participants will:

• Use business acumen to analyze a business scenario.
• Synthesize and condense information and craft a compelling argument.
• Understand how to conduct and analyze consumer interviews.
• Identify business growth strategies.

This case study will appeal to students interested in business, marketing, consumer behavior, and the consumer packaged goods industry. Additionally, any student who wants practical experience using strategic thinking and communication skills, or would like experience working in a collaborative setting and receiving feedback, will find this opportunity useful.
