Design Thinking for Beginners

Does creative problem solving sound interesting to you? Design thinking is a process of solving complex problems with innovative, user-focused solutions. Come learn about design thinking and experience it first-hand! No prior knowledge required and all majors welcome.

This workshop will expose you to some of the key design thinking methods and mindsets. Led by design thinking expert and director of the new Masters of Science in Design + Innovation, Michelle Kwasny, it is hands-on, fast-paced and experiential. You will leave with a basic understanding of the process and some tools for how you might put design thinking to use on your own.

Come learn about design thinking, one of the most in-demand skills in industry today. Free lunch too! Preference will be given to undergraduate L&S students.
