Exploring Biohealth and Biotech Trek to Research Park

Biohealth (the intersection of healthcare, life sciences, biosciences, digital health, and biomanufacturing) is a rapidly expanding cluster of industries, with over 1900 biohealth companies across the state and 107,616 direct jobs in the biohealth industry. Whether you have a social science, natural science, physical science, business or data/software field of study, there’s something for everyone in this field.
We’re seeking 30 students from all majors to explore biohealth employers in Madison. You’ll visit start-up companies at the MGE Innovation Center and Illumina, tour their labs and offices, meet with current employees, and learn about job and internship opportunities for the future. While an application is required, we’re hoping to take as many students who meet the selection criteria as possible.
Transportation from campus and lunch will be provided!
